Terms and Conditions of trading online with BJECA
Products
Our stock is ordered in advance and every effort is made to have availability of all items. Should an item become temporarily unavailable, the website will be amended to reflect that. Some products may have been photographed with additional props. Unless specifically listed an item is not included in the order. Orders can be made online 24hours a day, seven days a week. A confirmation email will be sent to you on receipt of your order and another at the time of dispatch. Cancellations and alterations to any order must be made at least 48 hours before dispatch from our office. Under no circumstances will BJECA accept cancellations once an order has left our premises.
Delivery
Please ensure all delivery details entered are correct. Delivery delays may result due to inaccurate spelling or misinformation. Any re-delivery charges/ penalties will be passed on to the customer. The Busselton Jetty Environment and Conservation Association (BJECA) does not accept liability for any lost, stolen or damaged articles arising from late delivery or after delivery has taken place. The delivery charge is not included in the price of the item. These charges are calculated according to the postcode entered when an order is placed as well as a weight ratio. All available postage options are present for customer selection when placing an order. Allow seven to fourteen days for delivery on most orders within Australia. Longer timeframes may apply to international destinations or orders placed at peak periods such as Christmas. No deliveries are made on weekends or public holidays. Delivery time frames are calculated on business days and are intended as a guide only. BJECA cannot be responsible for delivery delays beyond our control. Please contact us for courier delivery options. This service is available at an additional charge. All Orders will be sent through our preferred carrier Australia Post unless otherwise prearranged. This service has options to provide an identification and tracking system which ensures the security of your purchase until collected depending on shipping method selected. Method of delivery will be listed on each order confirmation email.
Courier items have an option for freight insurance which is solely at the discretion and wholly the responsibility of the courier company. BJECA will not accept liability for any insurance claims; they must be directed to the courier company only.
It is the customer's responsibility to inform BJECA if an order has not been received. Depending on the shipping method selected, if a residential address is unattended at the time of delivery, a card will be left advising the recipient that the parcel has been taken to the local Post Office or courier depot for collection. Christmas orders - Please allow extra time for deliveries during the Christmas period. Gift orders need to be placed before the 10th December if delivering to Australia, 1st December for International deliveries to ensure they reach their recipient before Christmas.
Returns on Damaged Items
All orders are packaged with utmost care. In the event that a product is delivered damaged or faulty please inform us within 24 hours of delivery and we will be more than happy to replace the item once it has been returned and assessed by us.
