Cape Lodge executive chef Tony Howell has cooked on shows such as Getaway and Postcards but admitted the prospect of cooking on Busselton Jetty for more than a million viewers of ratings hit MasterChef Australia had him "freaking".
"I have done a fair bit of TV before but this is probably the biggest, MasterChef has an amazing following it absolutely blows me away," he told Access All Areas.
"We had a security guard, we had boats going around, we had everything; it was bigger than Ben Hur. I've never actually seen anything like it before, the last time we had anything like that here was when we had Sting staying at Cape Lodge."
